Before we had our major storms we had some practice storms.
We had a warm November and in addition, our house is on a little slope and we tend to escape some killing frosts that catch the yards only 5 or so houses away.
Anyway, the cosmos plant and the purple coneflower still had flowers on it. Then on Dec 5 we got a bit of snow.
The flowers were partly buried and partly not buried.
The crepe myrtle held the snow pretty nicely.
